ABOUT BYRON

About Byron

I design farm‑first agroforestry systems that can actually support guests and income (not just look good on Instagram).

I’m the founder of Food‑Forestry.com and I help landowners turn productive landscapes into guest‑ready, regenerative assets. I’ve designed syntropic and agroforestry systems on everything from small homesteads to degraded farmland and commercial orchards, including my family’s 1.5‑hectare citrus block in New Zealand, which I’ve converted into a diverse syntropic system.

My approach has been shaped by working alongside leading practitioners in Brazil, USA, Costa Rica, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and by making plenty of mistakes on real land and fixing them.

Over the last few years I’ve:

  • Trained hundreds of people through in‑person events

  • Built an online community of agroforestry practitioners with weekly live calls, trainings and group consulting

  • Reached millions of people with educational content about syntropic systems and farm‑first design

Right now my main focus is helping serious landowners design farm‑first, guest‑ready systems: farms that work ecologically, produce food, and can support retreats, workshops and farm‑stays without compromising the land.

Through Food‑Forestry.com I offer a mix of on‑site design intensives, remote design sprints, and structured group programs, backed by ongoing community support.

If you want help designing a regenerative farm that can pay for itself and host people well, you’re in the right place.
